• Young At Heart
The Young At Heart group is for those 55 and older. It meets periodically for a pot-luck or prepared meal. At other times they do other activities. Watch the Sunday Bulletin and Covenant News for dates and time or activities.
• Down Range Group (Covenant DRG)
This is a newly formed group started in 2018 for those interested in sporting arms and self protection. The group is multi-faceted and open to anyone interested in firearms for sport, hunting, competition or self protection.
Covenant has a number of members that served in various areas of law enforcement, the military or security and avid fans of putting holes in paper down range. If you’re an old hand with firearms or a novice, you’re welcome to join the group as a regular or casual participant. The group plans to meet regularly and take trips to the range. There might even be breakfast or lunch in there somewhere.
Inexperienced welcome. Members of Covenant DRG welcomes you participation and questions. Never been around a firearm or handled one? Interested in learning firearms safety and familiarization? Have no fear. This is the group for you. The group plans t0 offer small classed on firearms safety and orientation. Thinking about a home defense weapon? Ask us. We’ll talk with you as a group or one-on-one about the types available and help you in the process of choosing one. We’ll even help you with limited training.
Member interests: Handguns, Shotguns, Rifles, BB and Pellet Guns, Skeet and Trap Shooting.
Did we mention Bows and Arrows?
Some members are also avid archers.
That will be a sub group of Covenant DRG.
