I hope this finds you well and blessed and seeing God’s mercy. I know many of us have been following the news, in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are praying for those who are affected by the virus and for those who are serving them.
Our church family is meeting Sunday at 9:30am for church and are looking forward to worshipping together! We plan to continue with events, including youth group, our worship night and Lenten study. We are taking all necessary precautions to keep our church a safe place for you and your family. As the circumstances are changing every day, please follow us on Facebook for the latest updates at facebook.com/CCCVacaville. If there is a significant change, it will be posted there and an all-church e-mail will be sent.
We want to be sure to help with safety, so here are a couple things;
- Stay at home when you or a family member are sick.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds.
- Use the anti-bacterial gels at the welcome center and by the coffee station.
- Cover your sneeze or cough with a tissue or your arm.
- Get in the habit of NOT touching your face.
- Forgo shaking hands at church; instead offer a wave or friendly smile.
The church will make a couple of changes to our normal procedures on Sunday morning. We are a friendly church BUT we will put the handshakes and hugs on pause for a little while and greet each other with a hello instead! You will see greeters at every door to open and shut the doors so you don’t have to. Also, instead of passing the offering baskets this week, you’ll have the opportunity to give online, cccvv.org/give, or you can place your giving in the baskets by the doors as you leave the service.
If you are sick or experiencing any symptoms, please worship from home and listen to the sermon during the week, at cccvv.org/sermons. Starting March 22nd, we will live stream at facebook.com/CCCVacaville. I am praying for you,
In His Grip,
